Unless you want to rub shoulders with kids having their first beer, Newquay is not exactly what I would call a prime stag do destination – certainly not when you compare it to Lloret de Mar!

What made me laugh though was the claim in the article that people are shunning stag dos abroad because they’re too expensive! Trust me, a stag do in Spain need only cost as much as you can afford. The short flights are cheap, I’ll transfer you to your hotel, include a few adrenaline fuelled activities and some free entry passes to top Lloret de Mar clubs, all for an affordable set price – and what fun you will have!

Over here, you will not be surrounded by under-aged revellers, just people who are having fun in the sun!

Case and point: the Foreign Office has warned British travellers to avoid risqué fancy dress and rowdy behaviour on stag and hen weekends, according to the Daily Mail. Party poopers or what?
